- And more.
Our team of highly trained Canadian Certified Pedorthists will provide you with a comprehensive assessment to determine what the best course of action is for you. This might include custom orthotics, footwear, modifications to your shoes, or even custom-made footwear.
Custom, Handmade, Local Service
We handcraft our custom orthotics from your profile. We consider who you are, what you need, what measurements we take, and the cast of your feet. Our technical staff will collaborate with your personal Pedorthist to guarantee that your orthotics are made to give you the best possible outcome. Best of all, we offer adjustments and modifications to your orthotics, and can even completely rebuild old pairs.
We offer custom-made and prefabricated braces for the lower limbs, toe splints, sports and diabetic stockings, compression stockings, and wellness products to help you achieve the highest level of foot health.

Terry Trask, C. Ped (C)
Terry is one of the original founders of Thera-Ped Foot & Ankle Clinic. He is a Certified Canadian Pedorhist, an experienced clinician, as well as a talented craftsperson who has been making shoes and orthotics for nearly 40 years. Thanks to Terry’s experience, Thera-Ped has been Saint John’s choice for foot and ankle care for decades. Terry’s family has always been a part of Thera-Ped, including his late wife, Cindy, his daughter, Lesleigh, and his son, Thomas. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, cooking new recipes, hiking outdoor trails, practicing as a yogi, and cycling new roads.
Lesleigh Boudreau
Lesleigh has worked for Thera-ped for 10 years, specializing in footwear, compression and administration. Having pursued an undergraduate degree and living abroad, she eventually landed back in Saint John to work for the business. Her husband, Ben, also joined her in the business. Lesleigh is currently working towards her Diploma in Pedorthics through the University of Western Ontario and should be completed by the end of 2026. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her two daughters outside, hiking outdoor trails, and exploring new beaches.
Thomas Trask
Thomas has been with Thera-Ped for 16 years, but it’s always been a part of his life. Being Terry’s son, he has fond memories as a kid of being in the shop. After returning from a carpentry job in Alberta, Thomas started with Thera-Ped and has since become an expert in his field. He is a member of the technician team and can nearly manufacture an orthotic with his eyes closed. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids, specifically going camping at the trailer as much as possible, and hunting and fishing.
Mike Curran
Mike has been with Thera-Ped for 25 years. He joined the team after working in construction and has since become an integral part of the technicians at Thera-Ped. He is an experienced craftsman and has been making orthotics for decades. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, sitting by campfires, watching hockey games, and studying astronomy.
